marinade:
1 tbsp. maple syrup
3 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 squeezed and rinded orange(the juice!)
1/4 tsp. orange rind
1/2 tsp. shish kebob seasoning
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
pinch salt
1-2 lb pork cut up into bite sized pieces
Sauce:
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tbsp vinager
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. starch
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp maple syrup
Kind of a fuction between sweet and sour portk and barbecue.
Combine all marinade ingredients, and let set for about an hour. Heat a pan up to medium low, and cook until well browned, about 10-15 minutes.
In a microwave safe container, make the sauce, but combining the ingredents, put on high for 1 min, stir. Put on 1 min high stir again.
I like to take some of the pork chops (since I debone them) and turn them into the meat, save the bones, and put in your favourite rice recipe. I like to use brown rice.
